Focus Me Rollerball
Ingredients
- Minty focus or Invigorating Citrus Essential Oils
- Fractionated Coconut Oil- reduce inflammation, antibacterial properties, moisturizing, aid in wound healing, rich, hydrates, protects, easily absorbed
- Almond Oil- Vitamin E, Moisturizing, help prevent skin damage, antioxidants, anti-inflammatory, emollient, anti-aging
Use this rollerball on:
Wrists: pulse point. Your radial artery runs along the inside of your wrist, which makes it easy for your body to absorb essential oils into the bloodstream.
Behind the Ears: behind the ears is one of the areas where your skin is more permeable or absorbent. This makes it easier for essential oils to get through the layers of skin and into the skin.
Temples: this is a pulse point, which means that there are blood vessels (or, in the case of your temples, the temporal artery) close to the skin’s surface. As a result, essential oils can get into your bloodstream faster, allowing you to experience quicker results.
Bottom of your feet: The larger pores on the bottom of your feet can more easily absorb essential oils through the skin and release the benefits of the oils into your bloodstream
Can also be used: Collarbone, back of your neck, ankles, stomach, side of neck, inner elbow, chest, back of knees
Focus Rocks
I believe that rocks have the power to calm, settle and ground us. The rocks included in the Write to Self-Care packages were gathered from different parts of the world, such as Costa Rica, Mexico, Southern Ontario, Northern Ontario, Ireland, England and more.
I use rocks by moving them around in my hands to focus my mind when working, talking with clients or public speaking to release excess energy. This helps me to remain calm and in tune with my thoughts. While writing or creating a piece of art, I often find that my mind flows easier while my hands are busy, so I usually have it nearby for the planning portions. During times of stress or anxiety, this focus rock helps to keep me grounded, and my mind focused on more calming moments to bring me back to my focused or calmer state.
