What a beautiful, sunny summer morning to wake up to today! If you opened your eyes and are reading this, you have something to be thankful for. A new day ahead with endless choices, opportunities and activities. Those are just the things to fill your day. You likely also will experience some moments of liking something, or someone…..or maybe even experiencing love.

Yes, I’ll admit, I have days where I don’t feel very thankful. Maybe I went to bed over tired so my sleep was restless. Maybe I had a disagreement with my husband or one of my kids. Some days are like that. Sometimes work sucks, dinner flops and it feels like the road of life is all uphill. But even in those moments and days there are small things to be thankful for.
I challenge you to go find them. Search them out, identify them and write them down. At the end of the day review what you wrote. Then again at the end of the week. You might be pleasantly surprised to see just how many things you have to be thankful for. We often miss or lose sight of them amoungst the struggles and monotony that life can often feel like.
It has been a proven fact that when we feel and acknowledge thankfulness our day naturally gets better. Our energy that we share with others improves. We feel happier overall.
